 "Carbon-footprints" are the amount of waste product and carbondioxide we produce and leave behind; it is currently hurting the environment on a unprecedented level. From everyday foods on our plates to the automobiles we drive to work, every step we take generates a filthy effect towards the environment. Although the effects may not seem so evident to the eye right now, if we give it enough time, it will begin to take a tremendous toll on the very creatures that showed indifference to preserving it--Us. In order to prevent the rising sea levels, extreme weathers, we ought to rectify our attitudes towards the world we live in; and rather than taking it as granted for the sake of satisfying our own conveniences and pleasures, we should safeguard it, tend it, sustain it for the sake of ourr future generations to come.  I created this piece called "Nature's Footprints."
