The twig casts a shadow to resembling the veins on the person's forearm. The image intends to convey the mesaage of a indispensable bond between human and nature, echoing biophilia, as well as showing a sense of merging and unity between through the shadows. 

materials: iphone camera, twigs, photoshop, nik collection, hot glue gun

experimental design: inorder to create a suitable twig, i used multiple twigs and hot glued them together to create the effects of veins when casting a shadow. Lighting had to be extremely critical for taking this photo. The light source is intentionally placed behind the person, and the twig is placed between the palm and the light source.

There are countless creatures inhabitating this earth, and on a day to day basis, unless you work in a zoo, an average person will interact with no more than a couple dozens of the species, leaving most of them out of our point of view; however, if we pay close enough attention and intentionally seek for them, we shall see. Beauty is found every where. Our eyes do not show a lack of sense of beauty. But a lack of observation.
